The Ridetech 1967-1969 Camaro / Firebird Coil-Over package provides everything you need to upgrade your suspension, giving your Camaro a bold, lowered stance with modern drivability. This package includes front upper and lower control arms, tall spindles, a front sway bar, a rear 4-Link, and 4 HQ Series Coil-Overs for all corners of your vehicle. Opting for a complete suspension system eliminates the guesswork when upgrading. Ridetech has dedicated hours to collecting data to determine the ideal spring rate and components for optimal performance and ride quality.

 

Features:

  • Tall “Pin” Spindles: These spindles induce more negative camber gain to maximize the tire contact patch during cornering and offer a 2” drop for longer shocks and increased suspension travel. Compatible with all brake kits designed for the stock disc brake spindle.
  • Optional “Hub” Spindles: These provide the same geometry improvements as the pin spindles but add the performance of late-model Corvette hubs and brakes. They use C5/C6/C7 Corvette hubs for maximum strength, consistent braking, and reduced maintenance. Compatible with C5/C6 Corvette brake systems, OE, and aftermarket (caliper brackets included). Minimum 17″ wheels required.
  • Upper StrongArms: These feature corrected ball joint angles for the tall spindles. The upper ball joints are moved back to allow for additional caster settings, improving high-speed stability and steering feel. Offset slugs are available for additional caster. Injection-molded Delrin bushings with 13% Teflon reduce deflection and stiction.
  • Lower StrongArms: These include a double shear lower mount for increased strength. The lower shock mount is dropped to increase suspension travel, and the lower ball joint is moved forward to increase caster settings while keeping the wheel centered. Injection-molded Delrin bushings with 13% Teflon are used here as well.
  • HQ Series Shockwaves: Featuring an impact-forged aluminum body and Monotube design, these shocks deliver excellent ride quality and handling. They allow fine-tuning with an easily accessible rebound knob and come standard with a 1,000,0001 Mile Warranty.
  • Front Sway Bar: This reduces body roll and creates room for wider front tires. It includes billet aluminum frame straps (anodized black) and low-friction bushings.
  • Bolt-On 4-Link: This improves traction, handling, and ride quality. Installation requires minimal welding to the axle tube and no significant floor pan modifications. Compatible with mini-tubs and features double adjustable links with R-Joint rod ends for low friction, stability, articulation, and quiet operation.

Upgrades:

  • TruTurn System: Resolves suspension geometry issues, improves tire lean into turns, reduces bumpsteer to under .050″ through 5″ of suspension travel, and allows clearance for up to a 10″ wide wheel with a 275mm tire. Compatible with both “Pin” and “Hub” spindles.
  • Rear Sway Bar: Ideal for track cars with wide tires and big horsepower, this sway bar helps keep rear tires hooked up through corners.
  • Compressor Systems: Choose between the pre-assembled “AirPOD” module for quicker installation or the RidePRO E5 component kit for flexible mounting. Both offer the same performance and features.
  • Weld-on Lower Axle Brackets: Available for aftermarket axle housings without stock-style leaf spring pads (sold separately).
  • Ford 9″ Housing and Axle Package: Allows for easy installation with integrated 4-link brackets.
